| Tipper’s final projection-mapped show marked the closing of a meaningful chapter. Six 40K lumen projectors formed a 250-foot, 8K canvas, carefully mapped with support from Eric Mintzer of Imaginex. The evening unfolded as a two-hour ambient set, accompanied by immersive visuals and a central screen collaboration with @johnathansinger—bringing together sound and image into a unified experience at Orion Amphitheater. Our connection to this community goes back to our first collaboration with “Tipper & Friends,” where we developed tree projection mapping and created visuals for Detox Unit in 2017. It was a demanding introduction, but one that shaped our approach and set the tone for everything that followed. Working with Tipper has been a rare and formative experience. His approach to sound and storytelling has left a lasting impact on how we think about visual performance. We already miss the energy of these gatherings—the familiar faces, the shared process, and the sense of continuity that came with each “Tipper & Friends.” We’re grateful to have been part of this final moment, and to everyone who supported the work along the way. |
