Lollapalooza 2015 was a three-day music festival held from July 31 to August 2 in Chicago’s Grant Park, featuring headliners Paul McCartney, Metallica, Florence + The Machine, and Sam Smith. The 11th annual Chicago edition attracted roughly 300,000 attendees to 140+ performances across eight stages, which were briefly interrupted by severe storms. This 2015 festival continued the tradition of utilizing seven to eight stages, featuring a diverse lineup of rock, electronic, pop, and indie artists in the heart of the city.
